SPECTATOR'S COURSE MAP

Parking and Shuttle Busses

Free Parking for spectators is available in the village (see map). There is no parking for spectators at the Eagle Mountain House race venue.   For the spectators’ convenience, special free shuttle busses will be running continually on race days from the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation short term parking lot located on Rte 16A at the Touring Center.  These busses will run continuously to the Eagle Mountain House.  Spectators may also walk to the venue on Rte 16B (Carter Notch Road) alongside scenic Jackson Falls.  - look for the Shuttle Bus signs at the Touring Center and at the Eagle Mtn House.

Race Course Access

Signs will lead you to the race stadium.  A special spectator trail has been cut to allow spectators to gain access to an interesting view point on the course.  Follow the signs.

Spectating Opportunities
Start lists and results will be posted in the stadium.  Access to the excellent viewing areas is available. Spectators may walk or snowshoe to spectating areas once at the Race Venue.  After the race is over, spectators with proper trail passes may ski on the race courses.

Being an informed Spectator

To make your spectating more fun and comfortable, we suggest that you bring along the following:  Sunglasses, a camera, a backpack with snacks, a thermos of hot drinks and extra, warm clothes. A small square of scrap rug to stand on will keep your feet warmer.  Noisemakers are fun and encouraged, especially cow bells, which have a long history of making joyful noise at ski racing events around the world.  Waving flags also adds to the festivities!

An electronic scoreboard and an announcer will keep you up-to-date with the competitions.  The Announcer will be calling all the action of at this year’s J2 Championships.

J2 Championship Memorabilia will be available for purchase in the stadium area.

Start orders and race information will also be posted on information boards at the entrance to the stadium access points.

Skiing Opportunities
Jackson's vast trail network is available to ski by spectators and parents. A weekly ticket is available for unlimited use of the trails. Check with the Jackson XC staff in the Base Lodge for trail maps, ticketing information and rates.
