BANKNORTH J2 EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

We will have 8 teams.... Please fill out and return the roster forms BY March 1, 2008. If you need an extra copy, please email thom@jacksonxc.org for an Excel spreadsheet signup form. Be sure to list your skiers, as best you can, from fastest to slowest. If you have an incomplete team, it is simplest for us if you begin seeding them at #1 and leave the higher numbers blank.
We need to place orders and need your t-shirt orders and dinner orders returned promptly by March1.
Please let us know where your team will be staying and the telephone number.
During the day, There will be a snow shuttle to Stadium Waxing Tent to assist with bringing ski and waxing gear to the stadium. A waxing tent is set up in the stadium with power, heat and lights for the use of the teams.
1:00 PM Coaches meeting
We will have Comp Trail passes (for your Team Leader and Coaches, Bibs, T-shirts, Pins, Dinner tickets, Trail maps, Parking Passes, Start Lists, maybe some assorted “goodies” from some of our sponsors, and the answers to all of your questions (we hope).
Please be prepared to write a check for your team’s fees and orders at that time (made out to Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.
3:30 Girls 5K Freestyle race. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
4:30 Boys 5K Freestyle race. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
5- 7:30 p.m. Pasta Feed - Black Mountain Ski Area Base Lodge (1 mile from stadium)
10:00 Boys 5K Classic race. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
11:00 Girls 5K Classic race. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
Lunch - Lunch available at the Eagle Mtn House or other restaurants in the village. Shuttle Bus will be running.
2:00 Boys 1K Sprint. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
3:00 Girls 1K Sprint. Starting in waves of 5, 60 seconds apart.
4:00 Relay rosters due to Race Secretary at timing building before leaving stadium.
6:00 Awards dinner and raffle at Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash, Rte 302 Bartlett, NH
10:00 4x2K Mixed Relay. (Leg 1-Boy Classic, 2-Girl Classic, 3-Boy Freestyle,
anchored by 4-Girl Freestyle. Seeded Mass start in 10 lanes).
12:00 Noon or as possible- Relay and Team Awards in the stadium.
After races - equipment shuttle to Carter Notch Road for team skis and waxing gear.
Because parking space at the Eagle Mtn House is very limited, PARKING PASSES (place on dash) to enable Team Vans/Buses to park at Eagle Mtn House. Non-accredited team vehicles, spectators and others must park in the village and take the shuttle bus from the Touring Center to the Stadium Access Trailhead.
