Restoration of Stella - a 1967 Allied Seawind Ketch (hull #90 - f.k.a. Clam, f.k.a. Seal)
Stella was purchased on Mother's Day May 9th, 2004 and restoration work began immediately. The photos below were taken during that 2004 process. Stella had been ashore for 3 years and had previously been sunk.  The engine had been replaced, new cushions made and the boat had been re-wired.

Rafted with our friends aboard "Tannis" a 38' l.o.d. Friendship Sloop.  Tannis is the boat we race on and is owned by our friends the Cronin's from Sturbridge, MA.  This photo is taken in the middle harbor of Winter Harbor on July 29, 2004.  Tannis won her class at the 2003 Eggemoggin Reach Wooden Boat Regatta.  2006 Friendship Sloop Regatta - 3 first place wins in a row!
