Thom comes from Jackson, New Hampshire and has been playing
guitar and performing most of his life. Thom began playing at age
8 and was playing country fairs and coffee houses
from Connecticut to California in the 60's. He has been plinking out
his own style and listening to what makes sense to his ear. Blues,
urban folk, and interesting tunes is how he describes his music.
Over the years, he has shared the stage with Pete Seegar,
Bill Morrisey, Tom Dean, David Francey, Bob Stepno, Scott Berwick
and others. With a passion for music but no ambition to promote
himself famously, he plays out occasionally.

During the summer of 2002, Thom performed a series of workshops,
gigs and shows in the Madeleine and Cape Breton Islands of Atlantic
Canada including the Red Shoe Pub in Mabou, Nova Scotia. He
performed at the New England Songwriter's Festival in 2001, 2002,
& 2003. In 2002, Thom won the best open stage performer award
at the Big Kahuna Cafe.

Highlights for 2003 included performing a benefit concert for the
Clearwater Sloop Society in NY state and opening for Juno Award
winner David Francey.

In the spring of 2005 Thom performed at the Inverness (Nova Scotia)
Cultural Arts Center.
Summer of 2006, Thom played at Fulcrum in St. Andrews, New Brunswick
Thom opened for Jonathan Edwards and was selected to perform at the
Ossipee Valley Music Festival Songwriter's Contest.

He plays a diverse repertoire -- from the subtle, quiet blues of
Mississippi John Hurt to the complex tunes of Richard Thompson.
The original songs and tunes he has written speak of his life
experiences-- the love he has found with Denise, his wife
of 34 years and the friends he has met along the way.

His guitars are life commitments with Ella Speed a '66 Gibson J-50,
Mattie Mae, a '92 Martin J-40, Yvonne, an '02 Martin 00016C-RGTE,
Jake a 1963 Silvertone Jupiter and Madeleine a '89, Dobro Style 33
sharing his evenings and free time.

Thom is currently recording his first CD having "practiced enough".
